The Big Breakfast is a standout choice, providing a hearty start to the day that many can't resist. Diners rave about the delicious chicken parmo served with chips and salad, a classic that never disappoints. The café also wins over families with its well-priced children's menu, featuring treats like burgers and corned beef pie that please even the pickiest eaters. Quick service is a recurring praise, with many customers noting how swiftly their meals arrive without sacrificing freshness. Lastly, the coffee here garners high marks, drawing regulars back for the caffeine fix and inviting atmosphere that encourages conversations and connections.

Most Disliked

Some visitors comment on the dated interior, noting it feels stuck in the past. While many see charm in this, others desire a more modern update. Occasionally, the service can feel brisk, and while efficient, some feel a warmer touch could enhance their experience. A few customers find the coffee could be stronger, depending on personal preference. Lastly, on busy days, the hustle and bustle can lead to a crowded vibe, making it challenging for those seeking a quiet meal. However, this liveliness is part of the restaurant's charm, reflecting its popularity among locals.

Visited on a quiet Tuesday. Went for the breakfast and a latte. Although the coffee could of been stronger for my taste it was still enjoyable. No wait times for food and everything tasted fresh.

I went here for the first time today and had a good experience. When I first walked in the layout of the place is a bit dated and it looks like they are stuck in the 80's or 90's but there is nothing wrong with that I suppose. I ordered the beef dinner for £4.90 and I took a seat, within two minutes my meal came out. This leads me to believe that they make a lot of their stuff beforehand and then keep it warm somewhere for future consumption. The meal overall was good, there is nothing about the dish I could fault. The service was ok, they were not exactly warm with you but they do get busy so I can understand why they seem a bit serious. I would definitely come back here again.

I went here this morning and had the Big Breakfast, absolutely amazing as always, also glad to see they now offer hash browns as an additional extra, the one thing I always thought was missing from the almost perfect breaky. My Mrs had the chicken parmo with chips & salad, she thoroughly enjoyed it and I must say it did look damn good. As I was leaving I didn’t get chance to thank the lovely staff for the amazing food as it was the lunch time rush and they were all mad busy. I thought I would leave a review instead. I can’t recommend this place enough, great home cooked food at great prices.

Welcoming staff, REALLY good cuppa, prices are really good! Most importantly, I'm really dubious about ordering scrambled eggs out. Their eggs were done beautifully! If in stockton, would visit again!
